 Course #: Math 101 Title: Calculus I Textbook: Calculus, A New Horizon by Howard Anton, sixth edition (1999). Objectives: The aim of this course, the first course in the calculus sequence, is to introduce the student to the basic concepts and methods in calculus. Topics covered include: limits and continuity of functions of one variable, differentiation, extrema of a function, Newton’s law, Mean Value Theorem and applications.
