 About Dr. Muhammad Saifur Rahman in brief


Dr. Muhammad Saifur Rahman received his Ph. D. degree in Economics from the Indiana University in 2009 and an M. A. degree in Economics from the University of Iowa in 2004. He also received an M. S. S. degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka and a B. S. S. degree in Economics from the same institution. Dr. Rahman is a Macroeconomist. His areas of specialization include core Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, Open Economy Macroeconomics, Macroeconomic aspects of Public Finance, Development Macroeconomics and econometrics. In recent times, Dr. Rahman has been working with a group of economists to build a research portfolio on energy economics.
