Hasan Habib A-Abandi is a lecturer at the College of Industrial Management – CIM,

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals- KFUPM, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia since 1981.

He earned a diploma from the Economics Institute, University of Colorado, Boulder,

USA in 1981 after earning an MBA and a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Management, both

with honors and a concentration in economics from the College of Industrial

Management, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.

He also worked as an economist at the Center for Management and Economic Systems,

The Research Institute, KFUPM for 12 years, during which he participated as a project leader and

a researcher in various internally and externally funded projects.

His research interests include energy (petroleum, petrochemical, and power) economics and socio-economics in addition to other areas such as comparative economic and epistemological systems.

He taught several courses of management, economics, and computer science and served in

differnt committees.
