Ibrahim Al-Safadi

Ibrahim B. Al-Safadi obtained his BS
degree in Controls & Instrumentation Engineering from King Fahd
University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) with honors in 2007. He
is currently a research assistant working towards his MS degree in
Electrical Engineering with a minor in Communications and Signal
Processing. He has taken graduate courses in Information Theory,
Error Control Coding, Multivariable Control, and Digital and
Wireless Communications. His main research interests focus on
applications of mathematical tools such as optimization, asymptotic
random matrix theory, and compressive sampling to theoretical
aspects of communication systems. He is currently working on an
innovative method for PAR reduction in multicarrier systems with Dr.
T. Al-Naffouri.
