Dr. Habti Abeida
Dr. Habti Abeida was born in Settat,
Morocco, on October 20, 1977. He received the B.Sc. degree in
engineering applied mathematics from Hassan II University,
Casablanca, Morocco, and René Descartes University, Paris, France,
in 2000 and 2001, respectively, and the M.S. degree in statistics
from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France, in 2002. He
received the Ph.D. degree in signal processing and applied
mathematics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Paris, France,
in collaboration with Telecom SudParis, France, in 2006.
He was a Lecturer in statistics and mathematics applied at the
Paris-Dauphine and at the Vincennes-Saint-Denis Paris 8 University,
in 2006 and 2007, respectively. He was a Postdoctoral follow at the
Superior school of electricity, Supelec, Paris and at the GIPAS-lab,
Grenoble, in 2008 and 2009, respectively, working on Blind
identification of unknown cyclostationary signals, channel
estimation and synchronization. He is currently working as a
postdoctoral fellow in the Electrical Engineering Department, Kind
Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. His research interests are
in the areas of statistical signal processing with application to
communications and antenna array.
