                        A new course in the area of contaminant transport in porous media and groundwater contamination was developed as a special topic in civil engineering.

                       

                        Worked in a committee which developed a proposal for a new program leading to a BS degree in environmental engineering.

 

                        Member of a team that developed a proposal to develop means and ways for certification of civil engineers in the kingdom.

                        General lecture on the groundwater resources in Saudi Arabia was delivered in the Old Administration Auditorium for the faculty and students of the preparatory year at KFUPM.

                        As part of KFUPM/RI Project No. PN-24150, a training workshop on using the contaminant transport model CONTRANS was organized for some groundwater professionals from Saudi ARAMCO.  I was a principal lecturer in that workshop.
