Who is Aerospace Engineer

The aerospace engineer is often a specialist in one of the many areas such as propulsion, aerodynamics, fluids, flight mechanics, heat transfer, structures, cost analysis, reliability, survivability, maintainability, operations research, marketing, or airspace management. Aerospace engineers have also applied their knowledge to related fields such as automated mass transportation, bioengineering, medical systems, environmental engineering, communications, and many more. In such applications, specialists in advanced technology are needed to do the job, and the aerospace engineer is the one to do it.

§        Aerospace Engineering M.S Program Final report Preparation Committee, KFUPM, 2003 - Designing the M.S report's cover page and decorating the introductory pages of the reports.

§        International Universities Curriculums Study Committee, KFUPM, 2004 - Studying, evaluating and comparing curricula of AE programs in many reputable international universities.

§        Academic Committee for AE-325 Text Book Selection, KFUPM, 2003 - Participated in the review of new textbook for AE 325 (Aerodynamics of Compressible Flow).

§        Advising & Students Affairs Committee, KFUPM, 2003 to Now - Guiding and advising new AE students and discussing students' related issues.

§        Improving Enrollment Problem in KFUPM Committee, KFUPM, 2004 - Discussing the causes of low enrollment in KFUPM and the actions needed to increase the enrollment.

§        AE Curriculum Re-Evaluation Committee, KFUPM, 2004 - Re-evaluating the inputs regarding the issues of Replacement of modern physics (PHYS 212) course by astronomy (PHYS 215) course and the need of AE 450 in the AE undergraduate curriculum.

§        AE Bulletin Preparation Committee, KFUPM, 2004 - Participating in the designing and writing of AE Dept. Bulletin.

§        AE Dept. Booklet Preparation Committee, KFUPM, 2004 - Participating in the designing and writing of AE Dept. Booklet.

§        Represented AE Dept. at the Air Force regarding Utilizing Radar Shield Material for Tornado Aircrafts., Royal Saudi Air Force, Dhahran, 2003

§        Receiving & introducing AE Dept. to the outside high school students, KFUPM, 2003 to Now

§        Organizing the open day for AE Dept., KFUPM, 2004 to 2007
